Nick practises predominantly in the areas of Litigation and Insolvency.

Nick works with clients to help them resolve disputes in a manner that meets their strategic and commercial needs.

Nick prides himself on providing clients with clear, succinct, strategic and accurate advice that assists them through all stages of what can be a complex and difficult dispute resolution process.

Nick has managed cases and appeared in disputes in the Supreme, County, Federal and Magistrates’ Courts as well as VCAT and the Building Appeals Board.

Nick has assisted clients with disputes involving a wide range of subject matter, including those relating to contracts, partnership and shareholder disputes, retail and residential tenancy law, building and planning law, intellectual property and consumer protection.

Nick is also experienced in personal and corporate insolvency having worked for and with insolvency practitioners throughout the insolvency process, including to:

  • draft and implement Deeds of Company Arrangement;
  • pursue unfair preference and voidable transaction claims; and
  • conduct liquidator’s examinations.

Nick also uses his knowledge of insolvency law and processes to help provide expert assistance and advice to both clients in financial distress and to those who are creditors of financially distressed companies or individuals.

Qualifications & Memberships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws, Melbourne University.
  • Bachelor of Arts (Media and Commerce), Melbourne University.

Memberships:

  • Law Institute of Victoria.
