Thomas is part of our commercial law team at Pointon Partners.

Prior to commencing at Pointon Partners, Thomas spent a number of years working as a solicitor in the Legal Services Branch of the State Revenue Office of Victoria, where he conducted litigation on behalf of the Commissioner of State Revenue in various state taxation matters.

Thomas continues to draw on his experience at the State Revenue Office of Victoria by specialising in state taxation matters, ranging from advice to representation in investigations, objections and appeals in the various Courts and Tribunals.

Thomas is also skilled in the dispute resolution field and hones his expertise in litigation through various disputes he currently undertakes on behalf of local and foreign enterprises, small-medium enterprises and high net-worth individuals.

Thomas is passionate about aspects of equality and diversity. Thomas has been published in the Griffith Journal of Law & Human Dignity (Vol 6, No 1 (2018)): “Affirmative Action in Piercing the Bamboo Ceiling within the Australian Legal Profession – Utopian Ideal or Dystopian Nightmare?”
