Jack joined Pointon Partners Sydney from Birchstone Legal, where he advised on trusts, CGT and family succession planning. He has advised on cross-border income tax transactions for Australian technology businesses, family offices, foreign asset managers and listed real estate investment trusts.

Jack worked with Judge Seiden SC, first assisting in research at Ground Floor Wentworth Chambers and New Chambers, and later as a Judge’s Associate, exposing him to the full lifecycle of tax litigation, and shaped his rigorous approach to complex tax matters.

Before practising law, Jack worked in investment banking at TMT Partners and Pier Capital in the technology, media and telecommunications sector, giving him a strategic understanding of the funding, valuation and transaction issues affecting founders.
