Ben has been with Pointon Partners since 2016 and has developed extensive experience advising on business acquisitions and disposals, shareholder arrangements, business structuring, commercial contracts and corporate governance. He works closely with business owners, investors and management teams throughout the transaction lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence through to negotiation, completion and post-transaction matters.

His commercial practice includes preparing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including shareholders agreements, share sale agreements, business sale agreements, loan and security documents, services agreements and other key commercial contracts. He also advises clients on business structuring, corporate governance and general commercial risk management.

Employment Law & Workplace Relations

In addition to his corporate and commercial practice, Ben advises employers on a wide range of employment and workplace relations matters. He regularly assists with the preparation of employment agreements, executive contracts, workplace policies and procedures, as well as advising on termination and redundancy processes, restraint of trade issues, confidentiality obligations and workplace disputes.

Ben has experience acting for employers in unfair dismissal and general protections proceedings and provides practical advice aimed at minimising risk while supporting effective workplace outcomes.
