Buying

What Pointon Partners will do for you:

  • Review the Contract of Sale before signing
  • Ensure that your legal rights are protected and that you acquire the title to what you have purchased
  • Investigate any issues affecting the property
  • Prepare all legal documentation required to transfer the property into your name
  • Prepare Statement of Adjustments and Settlement Statement, which includes council rates, water rates, land tax and owners corporation (if applicable)
  • Co-ordinate lawyers, banks and agents to ensure settlement occurs by the Settlement Date.
  • Attend Settlement on your behalf
  • Prepare Notice of Acquisition of Land and forward to the relevant rating authorities
  • Keep you updated on the progress of the conveyance.

 

Selling

What Pointon Partners will do for you:

  • Ensure that your legal rights are protected and that the transaction progresses to settlement
  • Prepare all legal documentation required for a Sale, e.g. Contract of Sale and Vendor’s Statement with required Certificates
  • Review all legal documentation
  • Liaise with your mortgagee to arrange release of the mortgage
  • Liaise and co-ordinate lawyers, banks and agents to ensure settlement occurs by the Settlement Date
  • Attend settlement on your behalf
  • Prepare Notice of Disposition of Land and advising the relevant rating authorities that you no longer own the property
  • Keep you updated on all matters arising out of the sale
